Submission

Please read the instructions below to submit new designs to the Neuroscientific Apparatus Resources Page.

To submit resources to the Neuroscientific Apparatus Resources Page please send a *.zip file (NameOfResource.zip) containing the items listed below to: Schaefferlab@gmail.com

1. CAD and STL files of each fully assembled resource

a. *.STL of fully assembled resource: NameOfResource.STL

b. .IGES file of fully assembled resource: NameOfResource.IGS

c. *.STEP file of fully assembled resource: NameOfResource.STEP

2. STL files of each component of the submitted resource in a folder titled "STL"

a. *.STL file of each component of the resource: NameOfResource – PART NAME.STL

3. Images of the submitted resource (400 (width) x 300 (height) pixels)

a. *.TIF rendering of the fully assembled resource with a clear background: NameOfResource.tif

b. *.png photo of the fully assembled physical resource with a clear background: NameOfResource_photo.png

c. *.png rendering of the fully assembled resource with a clear background: NameOfResource_STL.png

4. A text file containing the following for the submitted resource: NameOfResource.txt

i. Title of Resource

ii. Description: Briefly answers the questions – 1) What is this resource? 2) What is it used for?

iii. Reference: Citation for publication introducing the resource (if applicable)

iv. Contact: Name and (email) of the primary point of contact for the resource

NOTE: For an example of formatting, see the “Details” tab for any given constructable resource.

5. A text file containing the reference (if appropriate) for the submitted resource: Reference.txt

6. A text file containing any other comments about the submitted resource: AdditionalInfo.txt

*Contents will NOT be included on the website

i. Suggested categorization of resource from available modalities

ii. Any additional information you would like us to know

We will review all submitted resources and adjudicate their inclusion on the website in a timely manner. If all files are not included as described above, the submission will not be reviewed.
